The 2010 ERNIE WILSON SCHOLARSHIP has been mailed out and will be awarded to a graduating Son at this year's convention. There are 86 squadrons that have not filled out their Officer Report Forms as of 1-29-2010 and that means they will not get the mailings to receive this application. There are also 28 squadrons that have not submitted dues yet. This will also disqualify any application that is received from a member of your squadron. It is vital to the success of this program that all dues are received in Trenton ASAP. You will also be able to obtain an application via the forms page of our website or you can also ask Detachment Officers for a copy
This Award has been going on strong for several years now and we need to strive for the success of this program and others in the American Legion. Good Luck to all that apply and don't forget to apply to the Legions scholarship as well. They have their own application to be filled out. Don't wait for the deadline which is 4-15-2010 and please pay attention to all the rules & regulations that will be strictly enforced by the Scholarship Committee.
