The Detachment of New Jersey

     Would like to announce the first VA&R Ward Party this year. Saturday November 28, 2009 starting at 2:00P.M. It will be held at the Menlo Park Veterans Home. The Bingo/Pizza Party will be held in the Waters' Edge area. Group leader for this party will be Detachment Sgt. at Arms Matt Bieda. Try to arrive an half hour early to help out.
      I would like to thank Matt Bieda for taking care of this Ward Party, Detachment Commander Jay Gillman for making the long trip up to Menlo Park. I'm still disappointed by the negative Detachment Officers turnout. Need to ship up and make these Ward Parties. 
     The second VA&R Ward Party is set for Saturday Janurary 23, 2010 at the Paramus Veterans Home starting at 2 PM. Bingo will be played with the Vets with refreshments served by the home.
      The next weekend will be the East Orange VA Ward Party on Saturday Janurary 30, 2010. The Bingo/Pizza Party will be begin at 2:00P.M.
      The fourth Ward Party is set for Saturday Feb. 20, 2010 at the Lyons VA Nursing Home starting at 2:00P.M. 
Pizza and Refreshemnts to be served after the Bingo.
