The committee met on April 14 to go over and judge the received applications for the 2019 son of the year award

4 applications where received before the cutoff date none arrived after.

Of the 4 applications 1 was disqualified do to missing required paperwork in the printed rules there is a specific list of documents that must accompany a nomination and in this case certain documents were not included

Applications where not opened prior to the judging and then only opened after all members of the committee where seated at the table.

I as chairman inspected each packet for content before moving on to the main judging

After careful inspection and review of each of the remaining nominations the winner was selected at a vote of 6 to 1
