COTA

As chairman of the C.O.T.A. committee this year I am asking everyone to consider helping these children and their families.

Many of you are probably asking: What is COTA? COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Association) is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to helping transplant families raise funds for transplant related expenses. Money is raised across the country for thousands of children and young adults needing an organ, bone marrow or stem cell transplant. They also work with individuals of any age with single gene disorders, such as Polycystic Kidney Disease, Cystic Fibrosis or Sickle Cell Anemia. 100% of the money raised is used for transplant related expenses such as lodging, transportation, insurance premiums, household expenses, prescriptions and medical care.

COTA does not charge a fee for their services and all funds raised are available for the patient’s lifetime. Please help the SAL raise funds for this wonderful organization. All funds raised in New Jersey stay in New Jersey.

You can look on their web site for more information: https://cota.org.

Checks should be made out to: Children’s Organ Transplant Association.

On the memo line please put – N.J.S.A.L. and Squadron #___

If you have any questions, please contact me at 201-665-0228, or email me at shiftyshaff@gmail.com.

Please mail the checks to:
